Sunday School

Sunday School is a fun way to learn about the BIBLE. From
9:45 to 10:55a.m.

Newcomers Class - Adults of any age who have recently joined or are considering joining First Church. Contact Sydnor for more details.

 

Nursery- babies to kindergarten made so you can go to sunday school without your young kids.

K-5 - How do you know "What Would Jesus Do?" until you know "What Jesus Did!!!". The K-5 group explores the bible to learn the basics of Christian faith and how to apply these lessons to their young lives. This exciting group meets in the Gathering Area for an informal assembly at 10 am and then moves to educational wing for their lesson. They have loads of fun playing games, reading the bible, acting out skits, singing and whatever else you can imagine. Parents pick up your child at 10:45 a.m. please.

Youth Class - This class is comprised of middle & senior high youth and meets on the ground floor of the Educational Wing. They are learning how the Bible has meaning for their lives. Led by Larry Taylor and Jason Whisnant.

Encounters Class - Young adults (typical ages 20 through 40) using a variety of curriculums for discussions. Meets at the end of the third floor of the Education wing.

Faith Works Class - Mid-age adults (typical 30 through 50) using a variety of books and videos for discussion. Meets on second floor of Education wing.

Aldersgate Class - Mature adults (typical ages 60 ). Uses many teachers to lead discussions of books and video. Meets on second floor of Education wing.

Heilhecker/Claywell Class - Senior Adults (typical ages 70 ) using the International Lesson Series. Meets on the second floor of the Educational Wing.
